Get the Dirt on Wine - Washington State
This special 55 minute version of our Washington State - Get the Dirt on Wine DVD was produced by popular demand. Originally created for KCTS PBS TV in Seattle, viewers wanted their own copy. For those of you who have seen the 90 minute version, you will notice that there is a lot of new video in this version including the new Rattlesnake Hills AVA.
This DVD tells the awesome story behind the Washington Wine Label, including cataclysmic Ice-Age Floods that contributed to the award-winning wines that are being produced in Washington State today. Geologist, Alan Busacca Ph.D. is prominently featured throughout the story. Amy Mumma of Central Washington University and Andy Perdue of Wine Press NW Magazine also contribute their expertise.
